Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WanderVlogs (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. Your choices in the cookie/consent banner (including opting out of non-essential cookies) are part of how you use the Service.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

These Terms were updated to reflect the introduction of WanderPlan features (including accounts, saved itineraries, and AI-assisted itinerary generation).

Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals aged 13 or older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use WanderVlogs for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Prohibited uses

• Scraping, crawling, or automated access without our prior written consent.
• Reverse engineering or circumventing access controls.
• Using the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Copying, framing, or mirroring substantial portions of the Service.
• Using the Service to generate unlawful, misleading, or harmful travel plans (including content that encourages unsafe, discriminatory, or illegal activity).
• Attempting to extract, scrape, or reuse AI-generated itineraries or planning outputs at scale (including for dataset creation, training, or competing services) without our prior written consent.

Privacy & cookies

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. We use Google Analytics with Consent Mode v2. Non-essential analytics cookies are set only if you consent in the banner. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer (or by clearing browser storage/cookies).

Intellectual property

All content on WanderVlogs—including text, graphics, logos, and design—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of their respective owners.

Embedded videos remain the property of their creators and platforms. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of third-party content to you.

Third-party services & links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and embed third-party content such as YouTube videos and map tiles. We also rely on third-party services for authentication (Google Sign-In), mapping (Google Maps), analytics (Google Analytics as described in the Privacy Policy), and AI-powered itinerary generation. We do not control or endorse these services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

Vlog creators

Participation by vloggers/creators may be subject to separate terms or agreements (“Vlogger Terms”). Embedding or listing a video does not transfer ownership of that content to us or to users.

Accounts & WanderPlan

Some features of the Service, including WanderPlan, require creating an account using Google authentication.

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your access.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring that information you provide is accurate and lawful.

You may view public itineraries without an account, but creating, saving, or editing itineraries requires signing in.

User content & saved itineraries

You retain ownership of itineraries and preferences you create using WanderPlan (“User Content”).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service (for example, saving your plans, rendering them to you, and generating itinerary outputs on request).

We do not sell User Content or use it for advertising.

AI-generated itineraries

WanderPlan uses automated systems and AI services to generate itineraries based on your input and travel data.

AI-generated content:

• Is provided for informational purposes only.
• May be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
• Should not be relied on as professional, safety, medical, legal, or other advice.

You are responsible for verifying details such as routes, costs, opening hours, booking requirements, local rules, and safety conditions before travel.

Affiliate links & sponsorships

We do not currently use affiliate links or sponsored placements.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that itineraries (including AI-generated itineraries) will meet your expectations, preferences, budget, timing, accessibility needs, or travel constraints.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED LKR 50,000.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Upon termination, saved itineraries and related account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
