This has been the most enjoyable experience visiting an old monument or a temple in Egypt for me.

This is just on the Nile, so some people come by boat and they can just walk up the steps and go right into it.

This is the most impressive complex of temples that I've ever seen.

It feels like we're entering a different universe.

Our experience as travelers is so different from the tourists who come by boat or horse carriage.

It's incredible just looking at these photos of the temples and imagining what it must have felt like to dig them out from under the sand.
