In Padborg Station, the platform is actually so low that in order to get passengers in and out of the train, they have had to get a ramp specifically designed.

We shortly afterwards make a stop in Kolding, a historic trading town and Denmark’s eighth largest city.

Now we are here in Odense, where we make another brief stop to pick up some more passengers.

Ringsted Station is a major interchange station on the Danish railway network and also the starting point for the railway line down towards the under-construction Fehmarn tunnel.

I don’t think I’ve actually ever gone to the first-class lounge.

It’s quite cold out this morning. So that’s it inside the hopefully warm station building.
