Our favorite activity was our day trip to Kuranda, which involved a breathtaking journey on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the scenic Railway.
at Kuranda, Australia . The city itself has a relaxed tropical vibe with the Esplanade and its lagoon being a popular hub for locals and tourists.
at Cairns, Australia . We were lucky to find both of these unique creatures around sunset time when they're most active.
at Yungaburra, Australia . We explored the rainforest hikes around the Mission Beach area and were lucky enough to see a cassowary right next to the road in Etty Bay.
at Mission Beach, Australia . Our four days in the area felt too short and we would have loved to have spent a few nights on one of the islands.
at Airlie Beach, Australia . This offers the chance to see them up close and take amazing pictures.
